Philippine Crocodile
The International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources included the Philippine crocodile in the red list because it is severely jeopardized due to the misconduct of humans like dynamite fishing that extremely destroys its natural way of living. It is exclusively found in the Philippine islands and stays in rivers, creeks, ponds and marshes. Its teeth are very useful in catching invertebrates and reptiles that are small in size.It is a type of crocodile that is shy and doesn't harm people as long as its anger is not aroused. Despite the fact that its distribution is just limited it is still interesting to know that a concerned group named "The Crocodile Conservation Society Philippines" intends to focus mainly in the objectives that are centered on the welfare of the crocodiles is working toward breeding and regular monitoring of the current status of the Philippine crocodile.
